Today, I purchase three bottles of Gillette shampoo and one bottle of hairspray for 33 cents. With tax, I paid 97 cents. Here is how I got such an excellent deal. Firstly, thanks to Ton and Lene for giving me a save $5 coupon off Gillette products and for alerting me that the Real Canadian Superstore is clearing out some Gillette haircare products.
Here are the calculations of my savings:
3 x Gillette Shampoo for $4.11
1 x Gillette Hairspray for $1.22
Subtotal = $5.33
– $5 coupon = $0.33
Grand Total with 12% tax = $0.97
In general, it is always advantageous to combine store savings, such as flyers and circulars deals, with product coupons. If you are able to combine these two deals, then you would be able to compound your savings.
Thanks again to Ton and Lene for these savings! I will have clean and stylin’ hair for a long time!
